Dili, 27 June 2024 (Média Democracia) – Minister of Social Solidarity and Inclusion, Verónica das Dores chaired the second advisory council meeting of the Ministry of Social Solidarity and Inclusion (MSSI), at the MSSI hall, Caicoli, Dili, on Thursday.
In organic law no. 54/2023, MSSI is tasked with holding advisory council meetings, as the Ministry’s official forum to conduct strategic discussions regarding program implementation, achievements, as well as hearing strategic and political decisions that are relevant to the implementation of the Ministry’s programs and activities.
This forum is also a forum for analyzing success or achievements, factors that contribute to success and identifying obstacles and collectively making decisions to make improvements.
In addition, this Advisory Council meeting was chaired directly by the Minister and accompanied by the Vice Minister and two General Directors. This meeting is held by the Directorate General of Social Protection every trimester, based on organic article 11 of the MSSI, however there is also the possibility of making advisory council meetings extraordinary if necessary.
This advisory council meeting was participated by the General Directors, the President of INSS, Inspector National Directors, Municipal Social Solidarity and Inclusion Center Directors, Advisors, Chief of Staff and Head of Departments in MSSI. MSSI’s media.
